A6: GiftBot
Testing Video
This behavioral prototype is a chatbot that provides gift ideas depending on information texted by the user. This information includes who the gift is for, price range, and personal interests. While not a functional chat bot, this prototype aims to elicit real emotions and interactions from the user without actually having to create the bot. For this prototype our team consisted of a scribe, facilitator, and two wizards running the show.

- Timing of responses flowed well and the wizards had a good amount of time to message
- Having written out scripts that allow for easy copy and paste
Improvements

- Asking for rating with members of team present could lead to biased responses
- Be clearer beforehand as to which commands are accepted/rejected
- Set up messages to catch and handle errors
- Test additional users for more feedback
- Set up ways for the bot to ask more follow up questions when neccesary
